Logistic requirement

  • A document type for a process requires output to a provided printer.
  • It should be possible to store the number of printouts.
  • In COGLAS, a workstation is to be selected when logging in.
  • The settings stored for the workstation are to be applied.

No. Function Description
1. Enter, change, delete workstation Menu: System → User Management → Workstations

“Add Workstation”

  • Enter name

The name can be chosen arbitrarily. An approximation of a process name is recommended.

“Add position”

  • Select a printer name
  • Select document type
  • Specify copies

The printer name selection corresponds to the available printers on the server where the web service is active.

The document type corresponds to the name of the document. When selecting, the process and the name of the document to be printed should be known.

Example:

  • “Shipping label” and packaging
  • “NVE label” and incoming goods

The copies is the number of prints. At least one print should be created. Two pressure impulses are created for the value two.
2. Select workstation manually Menu: System → User Management → Current Workstation

“Current Workstation”

  • Make selection for printer configuration and save.
  • Automatic re-registration required after saving.

“Positions”

  • Display of the currently stored settings for the selected workstation.
3. Workstation should be automatically preset for selection Menu: System → Administration → Storage options

Area System

  • Activate workstations option (on/off)
  • Force workstation selection option (on/off)
  • Restart of the web service required = yes/no.
4. Initial registration and workstation selection required If the warehouse option Force workstation selection is active, a workstation selection will be requested at the next login. If manual maintenance already exists, the point is omitted.
