User management

General

Administrators have the option to access the user management to create new users or customize existing accounts. The editor can be opened by clicking on a user.

Individual roles can be created for specific requirements. For more information, see the User Management › Roles chapter.

Create users

Login name and password:
Login name and password must be entered during registration.

Display name:
The display name is stored with each stock movement. This makes it possible to trace back in retrospect which user made which booking.

First name and last name:
First and last name are optional

Login guidelines:
If the checkbox is activated, the user must adhere to the set login guidelines.

Password change interval (in days):

  • If nothing is set, the user’s password is valid for an unlimited period of time.
  • For example, if the value “365” is entered here, the user will be prompted to choose a new password after one year.

Promt password change on next login
If the checkmark is set here, the respective user will be prompted to change his password at the next login. The password change then takes place in the login screen.

Roles:
Individual roles can be assigned to the user with “right click” or several with “CTRL + right click”. With “Shift + right click” a range of roles can be selected. The assigned roles are then used to define the user’s authorizations.

Deactivated:
The ” Deactivated ” checkbox can be used to deactivate or activate a user. Deactivated users will then no longer be able to log in.
