Stock
The detailed view of storage units provides an overview of the stocks on them as well as various functions for handling storage unit or stock.
The upper segment displays the information about storage unit. Using the edit function, dimensions and weights can be changed individually for the currently selected SU. Any changes are documented in the stock movements.
At the button level, functions can be performed for the SU along with any stocks or SUs (nestings) on it:
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Relocate SU | Move storage unit unplanned by entering a destination barcode, selecting the node or using strategy. |
| Relocate entire stock | Stock transfer specifying the desired quantity to a destination LU. The target SU is specified by scan or node selection. |
| Create a fixed location | The selected SU is declared as a fixed place. It remains in the storage location even if there is zero stock and is not automatically cleared. Allowance (distribute) prioritizes fixed locations over regular storage units. |
| Stock transformation | Serves as an extended function compared to the processing of stocks (pen). Compared to the edit function, the transformation also provides the possibility to change the article number and quantity. An unplanned swap of inventory that should only be unlocked for trained personal. The transformation of stocks triggers an interface message of the type StockTransformation. | Lock SU | Enables the blocking of a concrete storage unit. The SU is displayed in gray in the stock overview to visually distinguish it from available stock. A blocking list is created automatically. All blocked storage units are written to the same blocking list. |
| Post out SU | Posts out the SU including the entire stock that is on it. To confirm the retirement, it is mandatory to store a note, which is documented in the inventory movements. |
| Reprint NVE label | Creates a label for the storage unit. |
Different tab views are provided at the item level:
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Content | Displays all objects located directly on the SU. These can be both stocks and loading equipment, which in turn contain stocks themselves. The content within further SUs become clear by calling the respective level. |
| Stock | Displays only the total stocks on the storage unit, on all hierarchy levels. SUs located on the selected storage unit are not displayed as separate objects, only its actual stock. |
| Total inventory | Cumulative display of all items and quantities located directly on the selected SU or further nested storage units and adds them up. |
| Stock movements | Displays a filtered view of inventory movements on the selected storage unit to review historical data. |
