General
COGLAS offers you two ways for search. The classic search bar is a fuzzy search and searches all important fields for a value. In addition to the general search bar, COGLAS offers an “Advanced Search”. Here you have the possibility to make your search more precise. You have a wide range of operators and can search for values in specific fields. You can define value ranges, exclude values and much more.
The advanced search can be found in all relevant masks above the search bar. By standard, this menu is folded and can be unfolded with one click. The number in brackets provides you with information about the number of search criteria/filters currently being considered.
Select a search criterion/filter and add it to the Advanced Search via the [plus] icon. A small search field offers the possibility to narrow down the selection of the desired search criterion/filter.
The Advanced Search offers the following operators. If you need more than one term, you can separate them with a simicolon “;”.
| Operator | Description |
|---|---|
| arbitrary | Arbitrary |
| equal | Corresponds exactly to the value |
| unequal | Not exactly the value |
| smaller | Smaller than the value |
| smaller or equal | Smaller or exactly the value |
| larger | Larger than the value |
| larger or equal | Larger than or exactly equal to the value |
| between | Is between two values |
| not between | Is outside two values |
| empty | No value |
| not empty | Arbitrary value |
| in value list | Min. a value from the value list |
| not in value list | No value from the value list |
COGLAS offers the possibility to remove the search criterion/filter via the [minus] icon.
COGLAS offers the possibility to remove the content of the filter via the [Radiergummi] icon. This way you can quickly “deactivate” the filter, but you don’t have to delete it if you want to search for other values afterwards.
